Abigail Jarvis
Abby Jarvis is a 24 year old writer from small-town central Florida. Abby combines her widely varied interests with a strong background in researching and writing to explore topics ranging from cooking, art, and literature to local government and politics.
After graduating from Florida Southern College with a degree in English, Abby settled down in her hometown and began the task of building a career for herself. Her background in writing has been developed in a number of different environments: she worked for a summer as an intern at a local art museum, where she edited grants and educational material, and she spent several months developing lesson plans for high school students for an online literary web site.
Now, when she is not working as a legal assistant for a local attorney, she spends a great deal of time researching different topics and making extensive notes on the subjects she studies. She has done in-depth studies on postmodern art and literature, ancient religions and mythologies, orchid culture, and herbal medicine, among other things. She also spends hours reading cook books and food blogs, and regularly auditions and develops new recipes in her home.
